About 50 million babies have been aborted since 1973, and approximately 24% of pregnancies end in abortion in the US. That's about 1.2 million abortions every year, the number of American soldiers killed in all of the wars in US history combined is about the number babies have been aborted in America. Basically American doctors have killed that many defenseless children, and many of them take pride in their work. I completely disagree with abortion, just because you cant take care of the child doesn't mean you kill it, if you truly can't take care of it allow it to be adopted but don't destroy something that could be good in the future.
Abortion is more common in the major cities of America then in any other country in the world, for example it has been reported that a staggering 41 percent of all New York City pregnancies end in abortion. This is one description of the five steps of a partial birth abortion….
1) Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby’s legs with forceps.Unfortunately, there are organizations out there such as Planned Parenthood that spend millions upon millions of dollars trying to convince the American people that abortion is okay.
2) The baby’s leg is pulled out into the birth canal.
3) The abortionist delivers the baby’s entire body, except for the head.
4) The abortionist jams scissors into the baby’s skull. The scissors are then opened to enlarge the skull.
5) The scissors are removed and a suction catheter is inserted. The child’s brains are sucked out, causing the skull to collapse. The dead baby is then removed.
Planned Parenthood performs more then 300,000 abortions every year, they also target the poor. 72% of Planned Parenthood’s “customers” have incomes that are either equal to or beneath 150 percent of the federal poverty level. There are 30 Planned Parenthood executives that make more than $200,000 a year. A few of them make more than $300,000 a year,
they also received more than 487 million dollars from the federal government during 2010.
The right to have Abortions started in the Pre 1960s, and the percentage of woman who have it performed is rising daily. Most of the woman who have an Abortion done have common reasons, here is a percentage of the reasons recorded in 27 of the US states.
- 25.9% Want to postpone childbearing.

I liked how you supported you opinion with hard hitting facts. However although abortion is a sad thing sometimes young people cannot support the child and don't wan the child to be without parents for some or all of their life. Overall it was very good though!
ReplyDeleteThis is really good and made me wonder about where I stand on this topic. You should have included the other ways to perform an abortion like the way that don't involve cutting the baby up, the one with the drug that's just injected. You also didn't support the other side of the opinion. Like why girls should be able to get them I DONT KNOW SORRY.
ReplyDeleteI thought your story was good because your story was well supported by facts and very interesting. You have a few grammatical errors, but otherwise I thought your story was very good.:)
ReplyDeleteYour story was well written and how they kill the baby was awful! I can't believe people do that to their babies. I would say you didn't support the other side. Overall a really good story and I agree with your opinion!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you!! I think that you had some great facts and evidence but I think you should have had some quotes but otherwise it was really good!
ReplyDeleteThis was a nicely written story and very interesting. I think abortions are horrible and should never happen, even if they can't take care of the child adoption is always an option. I didn't see any quotes but it was still a good story.
